So, here’s an old house. It’s on an area that’s about to be developed. Let’s make sure nobody’s here. Now in this situation I actually know there’s nobody here, and I’ve got full permission to dig these red spider lilies. Lycoris radiata! Here’s a nice clump of them. If we were to look around the house for other items, it looks like there’s some narcissus over here. Here’s some more red spider lily foliage. You can always tell that green and that silvery stripe going down the center. Alright without much further ado, let’s do some digging. It’s a really neat old site. It’s probably going to be a commercial site here, probably within the next year. There’s still a lot of really great, healthy red spider lilies, and it’s just a neat old house. Red spider lilies!]

  1. Thanks for the video. Bought a few Red Spider Lilies from you late last Spring. Wondered if they would survive the moles/voles & other animals. Happy to report that although there were no flowers, the foliage did come up. Slender strap like foliage. It’s good to see that they might turn into clumps in the coming years. Hoping for flowers in Fall 2021.

    1. Hi Sheryl! Thanks for writing in. Now is a good time to make sure they are receiving plenty of winter sun. If they are that healthy, I bet you have flowers next fall. Keep us posted!!
