Hello all! Below is an update through photos. We are full of Crinum “Milk and Wine” lilies so at the end I mention a special offer. We’re all looking forward to the fall!
The yellow spider lilies are coming into bloom in Houston Texas (Lycoris aurea)
On air with Beverly Welch and Linda Gay of the The Arborgate, and joined with Heidi Sheesley of Tree Search Farms!
Red spider lilies (Lycoris radiata) and yellow spider lilies, also called surprise lilies and hurricane lilies!
Good combination of perennials with spider lilies. Here we have Salvia Henry Duelberg with homestead purple verbena.
Fall blooming Lycoris make exceptional displays!
Another great combination for spider lilies is to mix them in with regular old lirope. Here they are combined with a variegated liriope under a crapemyrtle–great combination!
Milk and Wine lilies are the perfect addition to any late spring garden and their foliage makes a nice bold statement all summer long!
Milk and Wine lilies are harvested and ready to be sold for $10 each for a limited time only!
