Hymenocallis maximiliani is similar to the Tropical Giant, growing three feet tall in a three-foot clump of leaves; however, it has more narrow leaves and the foliage is glossier. Its slender petals are an elegant white that unfold from the cup in the middle, creating a delicate, spider-like silhouette that is unmistakably Hymenocallis.
